Small studios make some of the best games to play with friends. Browse indie co-op, PvP and online games ranked by players, check how each one handles servers and matchmaking, and find a group to play with.
Indie multiplayer games are online or local co-op and PvP games from independent developers. A multiplayer game only works with people online at the same time, so community size, server setup and regional activity matter as much as the gameplay.

Primele listări primesc cea mai multă atenție: jocul tău apare din prima zi în partea de sus a acestei pagini și pe paginile motorului și platformelor sale, iar primele voturi îl urcă cel mai repede.

Only have local co-op? On Steam, Remote Play Together can stream local multiplayer games to friends online.
The biggest threat to an indie multiplayer game is an empty server browser. Plan for it: schedule community play sessions, keep a solo or bot mode so early players can still enjoy the game, and make it easy to invite friends. Put your Discord link on your Mutop100 page so players who find you here can find a group too.
The tech options are mature: Steamworks networking and Epic Online Services cover lobbies and relays, Photon, Mirror, Fish-Net and Unity's Netcode cover Unity projects, Godot has a built-in high-level multiplayer API, Unreal has replication and dedicated servers, and open-source backends such as Nakama and Colyseus handle accounts and matchmaking.
Mutop100 started as a ranking for online game servers, so its players already vote daily for communities they belong to. That habit is exactly what a growing multiplayer game needs. Planning something persistent? See indie MMORPGs.
Pentru dezvoltatorii de jocuri
Co-op games have players working together against the game; PvP games have players competing against each other. Many games mix both, which listings mark as Co-op + PvP.
Some do, others use player-hosted or peer-to-peer sessions. Check the game's store page or Discord; it changes how reliable sessions are and whether a world persists when the host is offline.
Join the game's Discord from its Mutop100 page, look for scheduled community nights, and vote for games you enjoy so more players discover them.
