MU Online Stat Builds Guide
A MU Online stat builds guide — what STR, AGI, VIT, ENE and Command do, the best build for every class, and how PvE, PvP, reset and no-reset servers change you…
MU Online Guides 2026: Seasons, Klassen, PvP und sichere Server
Your stat build is how you spend your character's points. It decides how hard you hit, how long you survive, and what gear you can wear. (Stats are the numbers that make your character stronger, and a build is just your plan for them.) This guide explains what Strength, Agility, Vitality, Energy and Command do, gives the best build for each class type, and shows how farming, PvP (fighting other players) and reset rules should change your plan.
What each stat does
- Strength (STR): your physical hitting power. It is also needed to wear most melee gear (melee means close-up weapons like swords). This is the main stat for knights, physical Magic Gladiators and Rage Fighters.
- Agility (AGI): attack speed and defense rate (how often enemies miss you). For elves it also boosts bow and crossbow damage. Some gear needs AGI before you can wear it.
- Vitality (VIT): your maximum HP (health). This is the stat that keeps you alive, so it is a must for any PvP build.
- Energy (ENE): magic and curse damage, and how strong an elf's buffs are. (A buff is a spell that makes you or your friends stronger.) This is the main stat for wizards, summoners and energy elves.
- Command (CMD): the Dark Lord's own special stat. It powers up his command skills, his pet and raven, and the help he gives his party (the group you team up with).
Most builds add points to a "requirement" stat only until they can wear the armor and weapon they want. After that, they pour the rest into their damage stat and Vitality. So pick the gear you want first, then plan your stats around it.
Builds by class archetype
Dark Knight / Blade Knight (melee)
This is a Strength fighter. Most of his damage comes from STR. Add enough AGI to wear your gear and swing at a good speed, and add VIT to stay alive.
A popular plan is lots of STR plus some Vitality for PvP. Energy stays near its starting number.
Dark Wizard / Soul Master (caster)
This is an Energy build. The wizard's magic damage grows with ENE, so most points go there. Add just enough STR and AGI to wear robes and a staff, and some VIT to survive when players target you in PvP.
Wizards are "glass cannons" — they hit hard but break easily. So Vitality matters a lot once you start fighting other players.
Fairy Elf / Muse Elf (archer or support)
Elves have two very different builds. An Agility elf piles points into AGI for big bow damage and acts as a pure damage dealer. An Energy elf piles points into ENE for stronger buffs (extra damage and defense for the team) and healing, acting as a support helper.
Pick one path and stick with it. An elf that splits points does both jobs badly.
Magic Gladiator (hybrid)
The MG earns extra stat points every level, so it can go Strength (a physical fighter) or Energy (a caster). The Strength MG is the popular all-rounder, while the Energy MG plays like a tough wizard.
It cannot use a shield, so VIT is important to keep it alive.
Dark Lord (command/party leader)
The Dark Lord builds around Command and Strength, with VIT to be tanky (hard to kill) and some Energy for his Dark Raven and Horse.
He is the best party leader because he gives the whole group bonus EXP (the points you earn to level up) and helpful buffs. That makes him welcome in any team.
Rage Fighter, Summoner and newer classes
The Rage Fighter is a tough melee class built on STR and VIT. The Summoner is an Energy curse caster, a lot like the wizard.
The newer classes added in later seasons (the big content updates MU releases over time) each lean on one main damage stat plus VIT. Check your server's class info, then compare with the class tier list.
Recommended primary stats by class
| Class | Primary | Secondary | Role |

| Rage Fighter | STR | VIT | Durable melee |
| Summoner | ENE | VIT | Curse DPS |
PvE vs PvP builds
Farming build (fighting monsters)
- Push your damage stat as high as it goes so you kill faster
- Very little VIT, because monsters rarely drop you in one go
- Just enough AGI/STR to wear your gear and swing quickly
- Great for leveling up, doing resets and clearing events
PvP build (fighting players)
- Lots of Vitality so you survive a fast string of hits
- Still enough damage to be a real threat and score kills
- AGI for defense rate when it helps your class
- A must for Castle Siege (a big guild-vs-guild battle for a castle) and the arena
A lot of players use a farming build while leveling up, then shift points into Vitality once they start fighting other players. The balanced PvP guide shows how much survivability a fair server usually expects.
Reset vs no-reset planning
A reset sends your character back to level 1 in exchange for a reward, and you keep doing it to grow stronger. How much your build matters depends on the type of server you play on:
- Reset servers: every reset hands you a big pile of free stat points, so early mistakes get fixed on their own. Go heavy on damage to rack up resets fast, then move points into VIT later for endgame PvP.
- No-reset servers: your stats are permanent and precious, so a bad choice is hard to undo. Plan your final build before you spend a single point, and check if the server has an NPC (a non-player character you can talk to) that can reset your stats.
Learn the difference before you commit in the reset vs no-reset guide.
Common stat mistakes
- Putting too much into requirement stats: adding way more AGI/STR than your gear needs just wastes damage.
- No Vitality for PvP: a glass cannon that dies to one combo is useless at Castle Siege.
- Splitting an elf build: half AGI and half ENE gives you a weak attacker and a weak helper at the same time.
- Ignoring the server settings: stat caps, points per level and gear requirements change from server to server, so always check yours first.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best stat build for a Blade Knight?
The standard pick is a Strength build with some Vitality. Put most points into STR for damage, add enough AGI to wear your gear and swing at a good speed, then stack VIT so you survive PvP. Energy stays near its starting number.
Should an elf go Agility or Energy?
Pick one role and stick to it. Agility elves stack AGI for big bow damage and act as ranged attackers. Energy elves stack ENE for stronger buffs and healing and act as support for the team. A split build is weak at both, so choose one path.
How much Vitality should I add for PvP?
Enough to live through the fast combos players use on your server, while still hitting hard enough to matter. The exact amount changes with your class and your server's settings, but PvP and Castle Siege builds always carry a lot more VIT than pure farming builds.
Do stats matter on reset servers?
They matter less than on no-reset servers, because each reset gives you a big pile of free stat points to rebuild with. Go heavy on damage to climb resets, then move points into Vitality for endgame PvP. On no-reset servers, plan carefully, since your points are permanent.
Can I reset my stats?
Many servers let you reset your stats with a special NPC or item, but not all of them do. On no-reset servers especially, check if stat resets are even possible before you lock in your build.
Build your character on the right server
Reset rules and stat caps change how you should build. Compare server types before you lock in your points.
