How to understand Perfect World communities

Start with the 2026 gameplay promise: version, exp rate, region, launch date, moderation quality and whether the owner explains the server clearly. A useful listing should show concrete facts instead of copied directory text, fake vote claims or generic “best server” slogans.

Perfect World servers split apart on a few big choices. The first is Version: 1.3.6 is the classic era with the original races (Human, Winged Elf, and Untamed), 1.4.6 adds the Tideborn (Assassin and Psychic), and 1.5.x and later add the Earthguard (Seeker and Mystic). The second is rates: how fast you gain EXP, SP (spirit points that buy skills), drops, and coins. The third is the PK mode (PK means player killing): PvE servers focus on fighting monsters and keep PK optional, while open-PvP servers allow attacks almost anywhere. Most endgames revolve around Territory War, weekend guild battles for map territory.

New to the game? Pick a mid-rate PvE server on a classic version like 1.3.6. There is less to learn and plenty of guides for that era. Choose a forgiving class first, such as the Blademaster (a tough melee fighter) or the Venomancer (a summoner whose pet tanks for you). And keep up with your cultivation quests, the level-milestone quests that unlock new skills, or your character will fall behind.

Before you commit, check the health of the community. Steady votes, a recent opening date, regular events, and an honest, detailed owner description are all good signs that a server will still be alive next month.
